Swapping parts back and forth destroys this "memory." The frame being aluminum usually looses the battle on which material gets worn down. You cannot see it visually, but there are high and low spots on each part respectively. ![]() When you interchange parts which wear together (slide and frame rails.) You change the wear pattern inherrent to those two parts. Swapping slides is like swapping wives some people do it, but it isn't recommended. ![]()
